The withdrawal method is an extremely unreliable method of birth control.

If your period has already come, then the chances of you being pregnant are low.

However, vaginal bleeding, especially if light spotting, may also be an early sign of pregnancy, which may sometimes be mistaken for a girl's menstrual period.

If in doubt, given the fact that you have had unprotected intercourse, my advice will still be to do a urine pregnancy test to be certain. This will also give you peace of mind.

Moving forward, I strongly urge you to speak to a reliable doctor who has experience in birth control and women's health to discuss proper and reliable birth control methods that you may consider, especially if you are not planning to get pregnant at this point of time.

Hope this addresses your concerns!

In general, there are a few considerations that we will look at for natural birth in overweight mothers: 1. Stage of your pregnancy 2. Size of your baby 3. Position of your baby 4. Presence of existing medical conditions or complications such as diabetes, position of your placenta etc. Of course, if you are in the pre-pregnancy stage and planning for a child with the goal of delivering naturally, then it is highly advisable to kick-start a weight loss programme.
