In general, acne does not usually form around any injured area. Thus this will require no special precautions. Just follow your operating doctor’s instructions about post-operative wound care.
It is critical that you do not compromise wound healing by self-medication or treatment.

I would suggest that you seek treatment early. Don't squeeze, don't put excessive acne products (risk of chemical burns) and if it's bad, start Isotretinoin therapy for the control of acne.
Answer: It is still very controversial to say that heart surgery will change a person's personality. However, our brain is under tremendous stress & risks during operation and peri-operative period. Firstly, the patient will be given, sedation, pain killer, anaesthetic agent, blood thinning medications, cardiac medications etc. Some of these agents may affect our sensorium or reaction time. Secondly, if the surgery involves temporarily stopping the heart, a extracorporal circulation is needed.
