Is it possible to get a nose thread lift after a nose filler?

Hi,Yes, you can still have a thread lift if you have temporary nose fillers. However, the aesthetic result will not be advisable as the existing hyaluronic acid fillers will shift and make the nose bridge broader. I highly recommend using hyaluronidase to melt the fillers first before performing the nose thread lift 5 days later. An exception is if you use nose threads 3 months after collagen-stimulating fillers like Ellanse or Radiesse for nose augmentation. That would be ok as the fillers have already stabilized and produced collagen around it.

The answer to your question depends on the type of material for the threads you are going to insert into your nose. PDO threads can last to about 6-9 months. As such, it is safe to have a rhinoplasty 9 months after a nose thread lift unless threads of other materials are put in. PCL threads, on the other hand, would last about 18-24 months. Alternatively, the surgeon can stack the implant on top of the threads before they are dissolved but that’s not advisable.
