Solar lentigines and flat seborrhoiec warts can occur on the hands and forearms. They are more common on the sun exposed areas and they tend to appear more as one ages. Some people are more prone to developing them. It is advisable to minimize sun exposure to decrease the risk of developing more lesions.

They are benign lesions and do not need to be treated. However, they can be removed laser treatment or electrosurgery. Your doctor or dermatologist will need to do a proper examination and advise on the most suitable treatment options.

What could be the cause of dark spots after a pico laser session?

While pico-lasers are pigment lasers used to treat laser responsive pigmentation, pico-laser treatment can induce post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation which may take several months to resolve. This is especially so when treating darker or tanned skin or if there is significant UV exposure soon after laser treatment. It is best that you see your performing doctor who will probably be in the best position to assess your condition and to determine if the dark spots are side effects of the pico-laser treatment.

Is laser or chemical peeling better for treating large pores, pimple marks, and tiny bumps on the forehead? (Photo)

Thank you for the question Chemical peels are an effective treatment for comedones, acne scars and marks. There are also many different types of lasers in the market which can help to treat comedones, acne scars and marks. The choice of which treatment to choose depends on many factors, including the patient's skin type, skin sensitivity and concurrent treatment or medications used etc. There are also few studies which directly compare the effectiveness of chemical peels to laser treatment.
