Breast lumps are relatively common in young women. With breast lumps, the main worry for most patients would be whether these lumps are malignant or not.

My first advice would definitely be to see a doctor to consult regarding your breast lump.

Breast lumps can usually be investigated via a breast ultrasound for younger women, and if any suspicious features are found, a biopsy or review by a breast specialist may then be recommended.

Ultrasound costs will vary depending on the clinic you visit, whether it is a private or government clinic.

How can I treat strawberry legs in Singapore and how much does it cost? (photo)

Strawberry legs is not a medical diagnosis but a descriptive term of the leg looking like the surface of a strawberry with their prominent seeds on the surface. The 'seeds' correspond to prominent hair follicles on the legs. Our legs have a lot of follicular openings evenly and regularly spaced apart. The hair follicles become prominent when they are enlarged or clogged. This happens when they trap keratin, oils and bacteria. A few conditions can lead to this appearance. One common condition is keratosis pilaris (KP). In KP, the hair follicle opening is clogged by keratin.

What are some conditions relating to elevated bilirubin levels that I should be concerned about?

Thank you for your question. Bilirubin that is bound to albumin in theblood is called unconjugated bilirubin. Conjugated bilirubin travels fromthe liver into the small intestine. A very small amount passes into yourkidneys and is excreted in your urine. This bilirubin also gives urine itsdistinctive yellow color. Certainly you should be worried about abnormal bilirubin levels as itindicates abnormal bilirubin metabolism. There are several causes of raisedbilirubin levels, which are indicative of liver or gallbladder pathology.
