Rheumatology is the speciality that deals with the study and treatment of rheumatic diseases and conditions and functions of the immune system.

What is rheumatology?

Rheumatoid conditions include a variety of conditions that can affect your muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and bones.

Symptoms of rheumatic disease

It depends on which rheumatic disease you may have but the common symptoms that patients of rheumatic disease get are:

1 Joint pain

2 Swelling in a joint or joints

3 Joint stiffness that lasts for at least 1 hour in the early morning

4 Chronic pain or tenderness in a joint or joints

5 Warmth and redness in the joint area

6 Limited movement in the affected joint or joints

7 Fatigue
