Can an epicanthoplasty help to fix a ectropion?

Doctor's Answer

A epicanthoplasty (usually medial) is to 'open up' the eyes. It does not fix an ectropion.

A lateral canthopexy or a canthoplasty may help to correct an ectropion instead.
