Yes, the ICL can be removed or replaced if necessary.
However, it is worth bearing in mind that situations requiring their removal are very rare.
If you are very worried, do discuss this further with your doctor and consider postponing surgery to a later date if you have not had surgery yet.
If you have already had surgery, regular check ups would detect any problems and then your doctor can deal with anything that develops, as appropriate to the situation.
