Dr Boey is right. Oily skin will contribute to acne growth.
I will usually recommend starting out with topical retinoids (retin A/ Differin) as it will help to reduce oil production and control acne outbreak. Chemical peels (salicylic acid) can also be done to give you better results. Oral isotretinoin is an option for stubborn cases.
