Hi, white raised scars with borders are hypertrophic scars. If the raised scar is red and have no borders, then it may be keloids (horror horror). Usually such scars are treated conservatively with steroid injections.
Wound revision is only considered if we are sure you are not prone to hypertrophic scar, the location is good and that the very fact that you had that scar is due to poor closure and wound care and that your other wounds healed very well. Anyway see a doctor who has experience to assess those scars. Hope that helps.
