As Dr Sean has already provided an excellent answer, I won’t repeat what he has mentioned.
Your pain does sound like plantar fasciitis - which is based around the heel and is typically worse after rest or first thing in the morning. You could also see a Sports/MSK physician who will usually be able to provide you with a same-day ultrasound scan of the foot to help with diagnosis.
If this sounds like your pain, I would suggest a few basic exercises such as stretching the foot, the calf and the hamstrings. Often it comes on after an unusually loading or activity and can be compounded by weight etc.
