If your ophthalmologist has prescribed routine follow-up appointments for you in the post-operative period, it is likely that your surgery was unremarkable and no special care is required.
The usual advice we give patients after successful surgery includes returning to a normal lifestyle of work and activities. Normal eye-care advice is usually given, including not to rub the eyes excessively, and to take regular vision breaks during the day.
Regular use of lubricant eyedrops is recommended especially if you work in air-conditioned environments or had a history of dry eyes prior to surgery.
