Hello Jeremy,

The sensation of indigestion is a common complaint experienced by many. The symptoms can range from mild fullness to severe bloating. Like what you have experienced, the tight feeling usually gets worse after a meal. Small frequent meal, regular exercises to maintain a healthy body mass and ensuring regular bowel movements may help to some extend.

As your symptoms have lasted about 6 months and the epigastric discomfort is happening more frequently, you should consider getting a check at your GP clinic if you have not done so. A short course of medicine may help at times. In some cases, further investigations such as an upper endoscopy or an ultrasound scan of your abdomen may be necessary to help your condition.
