How does PicoToning work in reducing wrinkles?

Doctor's Answer

By using the fractionated handpiece for PicoToning, the pico-laser beams are focused to very tiny and concentrated beams. These highly concentrated beams coupled with the ultrashort pulse duration of the pico-laser create intense pressure waves and cause microscopic cavitations under the skin (laser-induced optical debris/damage as the laser company calls it). Subsequent healing that occurs generates new collagen and results in the reduction of wrinkles.

As the above treatment is non-ablative and no skin tissue is actually destroyed and lost, recovery time is quick and painless.

The side-benefits are that the PicoToning also targets abnormal skin pigmentation and gives better clarity and glow after treatment.
