How to get rid of keloids from ear piercings? (photo)

Doctor's Answer

From the photo, your earlobe keloids are not too large.

The possible treatments may include intralesional steroid injections and pressure ear clips.

I would not recommend any debulking procedure at this stage (surgical excision, CO2 laser) as the keloid is not large enough to warrant the risk of debulking procedures.

You should also note that earlobe keloids may grow larger at any time. Therefore, you should seek treatment early so that you can contain the growth of the keloids. Despite all these, you should consult a doctor and make sure that your the treatment you choose is suitable for you.
