Can microneedle patches for keloids cause infection?

Doctor's Answer

Hi,

If the skin is clean when the microneedles are applied, the infection is not likely to occur. The skin may be cleansed by washing with soap and water or by using an antiseptic swab.

Also once used, discard the microneedle patch and do not reuse.

Hope this helps!
