Can I use raw unpasteurised honey as a face mask to reduce swelling and unevenness from eczema?

Doctor's Answer

Thank you for the question.

The use of honey for the treatment of eczema does not have much scientific evidence to back its use. There is also a possibility that such a treatment can aggravate eczema.

Therefore, based on currently evidence-based data, I do not recommend the use of unpasteurized honey for the treatment of eczema. This is also not a recommended treatment in my clinical practice.
