Some women have no symptoms and signs of pregnancy at all and only realise that they are pregnant when their menses is delayed and their urine pregnancy test is positive.
Others do suffer to various symptoms such as:
- Nausea/Dizziness,
- Mood swings,
- Vomiting,
- Gastric discomfort,
- Abdominal bloating,
- Breast tenderness and/or
- Breast enlargement.
Most women are able to cope with these and they will eventually resolve as the pregnancy progresses (although it is not uncommon for them to get worse before getting better).
The more serious signs in which one should seek immediate help from a gynaecologist is when they experience vaginal bleeding with or without pelvic pain as this may be a sign of miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy.
