What are the long term effects of threadlifts over a 10 year period, and will skin elasticity and collagen be affected?

Doctor's Answer

Thank you for question.

Our body stops producing collagen in our mid to late 20's. Then, around age 30, our collagen production begins a long, unyielding decline. After age 30, our collagen level drops 1%-2% every year. By age 40, we have lost 10%-20% of our collagen stores.

This is why we need to increase collagen stores to combat the slow depletion of collagen. We can increase collagen stores through threadlifts, HIFU and Radiofrequency treatments.

Contrary to popular belief, threadlifts do more than just reposition tissue.

Threadlifts increase collagen production.

There are many types of threadlifts. One common type is Silhouette Soft. https://silhouette-soft.com/technology-of-silhouette-soft/

It works by immediate tissue repositioning and gradual tissue regeneration through stimulation of fibroblasts to produce collagen.

Hope that this helps!
