What are the risks associated with ultherapy that I should consider before deciding how frequent to do it for?

Doctor's Answer

Hi,

Ultherapy has proven to be surprisingly safe when it is administered by an experienced aesthetic doctor who adheres to clearly laid out treatment protocols.

The side-effects arising from Ultherapy are temporary and they resolve quickly with time. Nevertheless, the most common side-effects are pain, tenderness, swelling and mild redness in the immediate period post-treatment.

As the effects of Ultherapy may last several years, you may consider repeat treatments when the effects gradually wear off over time. Some of my patients do opt for maintenance treatment every 12-18 months to sustain the improvements they see after the first treatment.

Hope this helps!
