The majority of patients are actually suitable for routine VLC as modern machines have a large effective optical zone of 6-6.5mm.
All things being equal, you can consider an implantable collamer lens, laser refractive surgery with a larger ablation zone (femto-Lasik, with larger flap diameter, or surface ablation epi-Lasik), routine femto-Lasik, SMILE).
