The common causes of itch around the anus and vulval area include eczema and candida or fungal infection.
The itch around the anal area is often aggravated by persistent scratching, so you should try to refrain from scratching if possible. Using gentle soap free cleansers will also minimize the irritation.
For eczema, topical steroids are helpful. But for candida or fungal infections, they should not be used and an antifungal cream like miconazole cream can be used instead.
