What should I do to get rid of jawline acne? (photos)

Doctor's Answer

The recent Acne outbreak must have been quite annoying.

You have Papulopustular Acne.

Treatment options for your Jawline Acne:

Creams

  1. Benzoyl peroxide gel
  2. Clindamycin gel,
  3. Differin cream or a Retinoic acid
  4. Epiduo (combination of Retinoic acid and Benzoyl peroxide)

Oral Medications

  1. Antibiotics (Doxycycline/ Erythromycin)
  2. If your acne does not improve or even worsens, you might have to consider oral Isotretinoin (commonly known as Roaccutane).

Chemical Peels and Lasers can also help.

Please seek timely treatment for your Acne to avoid Scarring, which is much more challenging and costlier to treat!
